I was born in Prague and grew up in Switzerland;

completed the Gymnasium in Zurich but did not complete my law degree in Bern;

worked as a production assistant at the video production company Blackbox in Zurich;

spent a winter with in the gorgeous country side of Wyoming, USA;

lived for a year with cowboys and cowgirls on a ranch in the Dragoon Mountains of southern Arizona;

studied English, Russian and French at the University of Arizona in Tucson,

with several semesters in creative writing, writing for cinema, dramaturgy, video production 
and a few months in TV production at KUAT TV;

active member of the Old Pueblo Playwrights for a few years;

business manager of Pixeldust, Tucson, one of the first independent small CGI companies;

back to Switzerland, University of Zurich for courses in French language of the middle ages,

Russian language and culture, Theater and theory, the History of the Czech language;

training course in terminology at the Terminologieabteilung des Zentralen Sprachendienstes der Bundeskanzlei Bern;

three semesters of modern Greek;

continuous Russian conversation classes;

now living in the Charente region in western France not far from Cognac,
learning much about the Brits… so many expats here…
